Ike Freeman

Former East Rowan High School standout, Ike Freeman, played three successful years at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While a Tar Heel, Freeman participated in the College World Series, was named the 2018 Baseball Team MVP, won the 2019 ACC Championship and was selected for the 2019 ACC All-Tournament Team. Freeman was drafted in 2019 by the Cleveland Indians.

Chance Bowden

Chance Bowden is a Salisbury High School graduate. Bowden attended Catawba College and was a four year starter. He helped the Indians both to a conference championship and a regional championship. Bowden went on to the World Series to finish second in the country. In 2016, Bowden was the South Atlantic Conference player of the year, Southeast regional player of the year, and was selected as an all-American in 2018.

Colton Laws

Colton Laws currently plays for the Toronto Blue Jays organization. He played baseball at Carson High School and The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Laws is excited to use his expertise to instruct young SBA pitchers.

Connor Johnson

Roby Holmes

Zachery Almond

Graduating from East Rowan High School and Catawba College, Connor Johnson has a passion for the game. As a left hand pitcher, Johnson had an outstanding career. In high school, Johnson was Rowan County Pitcher of the Year and named All-Conference and All-State. During Connor’s four years at Catawba, he achieved 19 wins, four saves, 245 innings pitched, and 236 strike outs. Johnson's knowledge of the game will greatly benefit SBA athletes alike.

Roby Holmes has been around baseball his entire life. Having two older brothers that played collegiate baseball for Appalachian state, Roby has a great knowledge of everything baseball. Roby played at East Rowan and went on to play at Catawba Valley Community College. He has been providing hitting lessons for about three years now. Use his experience to help your kid get to the next level!

Zachary Almond graduated from North Stanly High School as Conference Player of The Year. Almond attended Catawba College and led the SAC in slugging percentage (.736) in 2017. He was named First Team All-Conference and Second Team All Southeast Regional in 2017. Almond was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks.
